Our steaks ranges from $47 - $56 per steak
Our meals started with a loaf of warm, crunchy crust bread. Our main dishes, a filet mignon and Strip steak were right on medium rare. Wedge salad was okay, sweet overtones distracted from the blue chees. Smashed potato side, okay, but the truffles mac and cheese was fantastic. Wait staff friend, helpful.
I went here several times right when they opened. At that time it was no question the best filet I've ever had. I hope they can maintain that level of excellence.
Love this place so much, we are already planning, (once this pesky virus things has passed,) a weekend away to Saratoga Springs and a special trip to Salt and Char for his better than amazing Bolognese. Seriously, it could possibly be the best in the world. Thanks Chef.
Christmas Eve dinner. None of us ordered steak so maybe that’s why only 3 stars. Scottish salmon was just okay and overpriced. Baby Artichoke Risotto was good. Appetizers were better - Ahi Tuna and Marinated Calamari and Octopus. Best of all was the baguettes. Great service.
Food is great and delicious. A little over priced. My husband's $75 steak had a line of sinew through the entire steak. My filet was done perfect and melted in my mouth. Wait staff was polite and attentive.
The best Tito’s and lemonade I’ve ever had. The bartender was incredible, he made lemonade from scratch, it tasted just like lemonade from the fair but not too sweet. The oysters were fresh, clean and cold but they were not shucked properly, the foot was still attached to the shell making it hard to eat.The French Onion soup was incredible!!!! The bronzino was delicious, I didn’t love the parsnip purée.The octopus and calamari with cauliflower was delicious, and the cauliflower was really my favorite part, it should a side of its own.
Like no other! Not just a steakhouse but absolutely do get a steak!! Apps are creative modern and delicious. Brilliant desserts!!
Unbelievable meal!! From moment one with their hot fresh bread straight out of the oven, to the delicious steaks and sauces, excellent wine selection, and incredible desserts our large party could not have been more happy with the food environment or the service. I highly recommend!
In one word I would describe my dining experience as exquisite. The food was incredible, the staff extremely friendly and helpful. Our waitress Gabby was incredible at ensuring we had a perfect evening. The clothesline bacon was Devine! The prime rib was also perfectly cooked! I would highly recommend this restaurant!
I needed a place to take some people out to impress them, and I made reservations here on a recommendation. Boy I did not go wrong. The food was phenomenal. Atmosphere was great. The service was spectacular. Great job to Amanda the manager and Michael our server! I would absolutely recommend Salt and Char.
